Spelling test will be Friday, Nov. 6th
Spelling Tests: PRE-TESTS EVERY MONDAY AND FINAL POST-TESTS EVERY FRIDAY!!!
Spelling Words: catch, dish, wash, sheep, both, then, when, chase, teach, teeth, than, which
Challenge Words: whistle lunch
MATH: Please carefully read through the family letter sent home on Wednesday, October 28th.
UNIT 4: ADDITION AND SUBTRACTION
Unit 4 from our Everyday Math curriculum details change to more number stories, parts and total number stories, explorations of temperature/money/shapes, temperature changes, estimations of cost, shopping activities, explorations of length/area/attributes, paper and pencil addition strategies, and partial sums algorithms.
Health: Our Drug Safety test will be Wednesday, Nov. 4th. Please study the study guide that went home last week. A big thank you to Pharmacist Bob for speaking to the second grade classes about poison prevention and drug safety! What a fun way to learn valuable information! We will still be covering drug safety and awareness throughout Red Ribbon Week this week.
