Writing: Finish technical writing unit; daily writing prompts; DOL
Spelling Dictation Tests: Pre-tests on Mondays and final post-tests on Fridays!

MATH: Please carefully read through the family letter sent home on Wednesday, October 28th.
UNIT 4: ADDITION AND SUBTRACTION Test is tentatively scheduled for Friday, November 20th!!
Unit 4 from our Everyday Math curriculum details change to more number stories, parts and total number stories, explorations of temperature/money/shapes, temperature changes, estimations of cost, shopping activities, explorations of length/area/attributes, paper and pencil addition strategies, and partial sums algorithms.
Social Studies: We will be studying history and the significance of U.S. holidays and celebrations. Native Americans and the First Thanksgiving will be at the core of our studies.
